19-year-old shot, pistol-whipped in North College Hill

Police are investigating after a man was shot and pistol-whipped Monday in North College Hill.

Authorities were called after 2 p.m. to the 1600 block of Goodman Avenue.

NCH police said three suspects approached the victim and asked him for money. The victim said he had met them before playing basketball.

The 19-year-old told them he didn’t have any and a scuffle ensued, police said.

After pistol-whipping the victim and grazing him in the leg with a bullet, police said the car sped off.

Police stopped the vehicle on Miles Road in Springfield Township and they were able to arrest two of the three suspects.

One man remains on the loose and police said to consider him armed and dangerous.

The victim told police he had never had trouble with the suspects in the past.
