We counted 73 different schools, including 46 NCAA DI programs (which does not count Eastern Michigan, unfortunately, but we wanted to include Branson Proudluck in our list regardless).

Ohio State is the most represented school in terms of ranked wrestlers, with five, including two #1s in Sammy Sasso and Jacob Decatur. There are also three future Buckeyes registered for Team Shutt, with both Jacob and Jordan Decatur and Kevon Freemon, making that the most noteworthy team to follow for Ohio State fans.

The Penn State faithful will also want to tune in to watch three of its future hammers bang in the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Top-ranked Aaron Brooks is registered, as are the #3- and #5-ranked wrestlers at 126 pounds, Gavin Teasdale and Adam Busiello, respectively. Teasdale, a senior, is slated to wrestle for Young Guns Black, while Busiello, a junior, is registered with Team Kong United. Those clubs are two of the favorites to make the finals and could pit future teammates against each other.

Rutgers has four recruits, having recently gotten a verbal commitment from Jojo Aragona of Team Scorpions Reunion. Three other schools have at least three top 20 wrestlers signed up for the event: Virginia, Princeton, and North Carolina.

As the event will be taking place in the Commonwealth, it is no surprise that four DI programs within the state will potentially have recruits there. UVA, Virginia Tech, VMI, and George Mason have 13 registered wrestlers combined, plus one more for Liberty, although nearby Old Dominion does not have a registered recruit that we can find.

And even if you don’t see your favorite college team in the list above, you’ll still want to watch to catch a glimpse of a potential recruit, as many uncommitted future college stars will be in attendance. By our reckoning, there will be 35 ranked but uncommitted wrestlers in VA Beach this weekend.

The aforementioned Team Scorpions Reunion will have five uncommitted ranked wrestlers, including #2-ranked 106-pounder Richard Figueroa, a freshman from Selma California.

Team Kong United, a perpetual powerhouse at the NHSCA Duals, will have four uncommitted wrestlers ranked in the top 10, including #2 heavyweight Cohlton Schultz and the #3 160-pounder Dustin Plott.

Finally, Team Shutt Nation will have a whopping nine uncommitted top 20 wrestlers, with the #4-ranked Theorius Robison at 132 pounds being the highest ranked of the bunch.

For a full list of all the ranked wrestlers registered for the Duals, check out this list. We’re going to pack the Convention Center with high school talent this Memorial Day weekend and can’t wait for you to join us!
