CLEVELAND, Ohio — After losing to the Golden State Warriors in five games in the 2017 NBA Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers had two clear choices:
1. Come back with the same basic team anchored by LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.
2. Trade either Love or Irving, with Love the most likely to go.

Trading Irving gives the Cavs a player more likely to bring a good return than Love.
One rumor has the Cavs sending Irving to the Detroit Pistons for a deal involving Pistons center Andre Drummond.
