ST. BONAVENTURE – Cybersecurity is a global issue.
“We’re all affected by it,” said Dr. Hossein Sarrafzadeh, the director for the Western New York Cybersecurity Research Center at St. Bonaventure.
Every year, more than one billion people fall victim to cyber attacks. At this new center at the university, students will be conducting research, tracking data looking at patterns associated with cyber threats and attacks. The students will also be working with companies, helping them fight against this.
This is a global opportunity for students. They can forge partnerships with worldwide cybersecurity leaders and travel internationally as they combat threats.
“The impact will be immediate.”
