ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ will visit Blacksburg for Virginia Tech-Clemson | College Football

ESPN’s popular “College GameDay” program will originate from Blacksburg next Saturday, previewing the prime-time clash between Virginia Tech and Clemson.

The Hokies have been a part of the program 11 times over the years, but this will be the first visit to Blacksburg since 2007.

Most recently, the program visited Bristol, Tenn. last year for the “Battle at Bristol” between the Hokies and the Tennessee Volunteers.

Information about attending the show will be released later this week. The program airs from 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday. Virginia Tech’s game kicks off at 8 p.m. Tickets to the game are sold out.

It’ll be a rematch of last year’s ACC title game in Orlando, where Virginia Tech gave eventual national champion Clemson a run for its money in a 42-35 loss.
