PETOSKEY – North Central Michigan College’s board of trustees on Tuesday accepted five recommendations from a search consulting firm for candidates to interview for the college’s president position.

The five candidates recommended by the Pauly Group are Carey Castle, vice president of academic and student affairs at Northland Community and Technical College in Minnesota; David Finley, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie; Bree Langemo, the Colorado-based president of the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative; Peter Olson, vice president of academic affairs and student success at North Central Michigan College; and Timothy Taylor, associate vice chancellor for academic affairs at Oakland Community College in Oakland County.

The five finalists will have interviews on campus the week of April 23. The college’s current president, Cameron Brunet-Koch, plans to retire as of June 30.
