If you were wondering, yes, there was a Wonder Woman sketch on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live

With the star of the mega-hit, Gal Gadot, serving as host it seemed like an opportunity writers would naturally want to take advantage of.

For the skit, set in Wonder Woman’s home of Themyscira, Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant reach the shore of the island nation and are delighted by a group of beautiful women. The two played lesbians who were disappointed to find they were the only gay people present.

“No one’s wrong here,” McKinnon’s character said. “It’s just unfortunate.”

To see if she could have feelings for another female, Wonder Woman kissed McKinnon’s character but didn’t feel anything. Then McKinnon and Bryant sailed away from Themyscira.

Gadot’s monologue also referenced her superhero film. Clad in a Wonder Woman costume, Leslie Jones embodied the Wonder Woman of Times Square.

“You know how you take pictures with young girls who look up to you?” Jones asked in the NSFW clip. “I do the same with German tourists.”

What Jones’ character lacks when it comes to invisible jets and lassos, she makes up for with “a fake handicap sticker that makes (her) car invisible to meter maids” and vodka.

See the hilarious monologue in the clip below.
