Half of New York’s Tech Workers Lack College Degrees, Report Says

This article alleges that, contrary to the common belief that the New York technology industry attracts the most highly-qualified employees with degrees from impressive colleges and universities, half of its employees do not even hold college degrees. Interestingly, despite that fact, the tech industry pays its employees an average of 45% more than employees working in other fields.
