ANN ARBOR, MI – Police are investigating a home invasion Sunday, Oct. 29 near the University of Michigan campus.
The incident occurred between 2 a.m. and noon Sunday in the 100 block of North Thayer Street, across from the university’s North Quad Residential and Academic Complex, according to a crime alert from the University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security.
An unknown subject entered the residence and took electronics from a common area while the residents slept, Ann Arbor police Detective Lt. Matthew Lige confirmed.
Lige said there were no signs of forced entry and the means of entry is unknown.
The door to the apartment was locked, according to a Twitter update from UM DPSS.
