Alabama moved into the No. 1 spot in the third week of the College Football Playoff rankings after Georgia lost to Auburn last Saturday. The ACC had the next two teams in Clemson and Miami and Oklahoma from the Big 12 found its way into the fourth spot.

Wisconsin and Auburn are just outside at Nos. 5 and 6.

We won’t know for certain until the rankings drop. Miami, Wisconsin and Auburn figure to be the biggest movers. Oklahoma will move up as well, but the Sooners could get passed by Miami, given that the Hurricanes are unbeaten. It would not be a surprise to see two ACC teams in the top 4.
