Man accused of video voyeurism at Seminole State College

An Orlando man is facing a video-voyeurism charge after police say he took pictures of a man in a bathroom stall at Seminole State College.

Rigot Pierre, 41, was arrested Wednesday and charged in the November incident. He’s being held at the Seminole County Jail on $8,000 bond.

The victim said he was using a bathroom at the campus when he saw a hand holding a phone appear underneath the stall and heard a picture being taken, according to a police report.

While he was still in the bathroom, the victim saw Pierre run out the adjacent stall. He told Pierre he was going to call the police, and said Pierre responded, “I don’t listen,” before leaving, according to a police report.

Altamonte Springs police arrived as Pierre was leaving the campus on a bus, authorities said. Security officers were able to identify him.

A search warrant was obtained for Pierre’s phone. Investigators sifted through more than 30,000 pictures and found three that appeared to have been taken in the restroom. One of the pictures showed the victim with his pants down, according to court documents.

Pierre has been enrolled in an adult education program at since summer 2017, said Laura Richeson, a spokeswoman for the college. The school will review the charges before determining Pierre’s status, she said.
