Man receives 25-year sentence for March robbery in College Station | Local News

A 29-year-old man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to robbing a couple in the parking lot of a College Station restaurant in March.

According to the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office, Jeromy Lowery hid behind a vehicle and watched a woman exit the restaurant and enter her vehicle on March 26. Once the woman was inside the vehicle, Lowery opened the front passenger door, snatched her purse and ran off, with the victim’s husband in pursuit, prosecutors said.

College Station police responded, and Lowery was caught near University Drive.

Lowery was also sentenced for a evading arrest for running from the police, prosecutors said.
