Pictures of the Nokia 2 leaked less than two weeks ago, but no details about the release date emerged yet. Even though the date on phone’s home screen indicates HMD might unveil the Nokia 2 on October 5, it’s not certain that will happen.
A new piece of the puzzle might have been uncovered over the weekend as a screenshot showing a conversation between a fan and Nokia Myanmar offers more information about the Nokia 2’s launch.
According to the screenshot, Nokia Myanmar plans to launch the Nokia 2 sometime in November, but that doesn’t mean the smartphone won’t be released in other countries slightly earlier.
File this under rumors since we can’t vouch for the legitimacy of the screenshot, although the information does come in line with the latest rumors regarding the Nokia 2.
Speaking of Nokia 2, the budget-friendly smartphone is said to pack a generous 4,000 mAh battery, a 5-inch HD (720p) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, and just 1GB RAM. Android Nougat is likely to be on board, and that’s just about everything we have on the device for now.
