UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Job candidates came from all around the Bay Area to Delta College Tuesday for the Great Lakes Bay Job Fair.
The college hosted its annual job fair this afternoon in the Pioneer Gymnasium.
Candidates came in, resumes in hand, and were able to interview for positions on the spot.
Martin Finney from Delta College says about 105 employers came to this year’s job fair, their biggest turnout in about 20 years.
“Employers are looking for people right now, so that’s why we have so many this year. We normally have about eighty, this year we have over a hundred,” said Martin Finney of Delta College Career Services.
Finney says jobs available could be filled by high schoolers, or those with a college degree.
