Pima Community College Downtown closed after shots fired report – KVOA | KVOA.com

Tucson Police Dept. has locked down Pima Community College downtown campus after a report of shots fired.

Authorities say a man was located in the library with what appears to be a self inflicted gunshot wound.

The man was taken to a hospital but his condition was not stated.

TPD says the report of shots being heard was placed around 3:30am Sunday.

SWAT and multiple other officers are on the campus working from room to room to make sure the school is secure.

Authorities say there is no active shooter and want to make sure the community knows no one should be on campus.
