The State Police bomb squad responded to investigate a suspicious vehicle at Bunker Hill Community College Tuesday evening, a college spokeswoman said.
Brooke L. Yarborough, a spokesperson for the school, said that police were investigating a “suspicious vehicle” that had been reported to campus authorities.
A second vehicle on the opposite side of the campus was also investigated, Yarborough said. A note was found on one of the vehicles.
“Police will continue to monitor the area,” Yarborough said.
The bomb squad responded to the scene around 4:45 p.m., Trooper Paul Sullivan said. The scene was cleared at about 6:25 p.m., he said.
The incident caused minor delays on the MBTA’s Orange Line, the transit agency tweeted.
