The university hosted the biennial two-day gathering which featured academics from across the world sharing their work, presentations and lectures, and networking for future projects in childhood studies.

A special conference-edition of the university’s online journal in the field, Childhood Remixed, is also set to be published soon following on from the two day event.

Sociology of Childhood lecturer Dr Afua Twum-Danso Imoh said: “The conference provides great networking opportunities with all sorts of people from different countries and in different professions all focused on childhood studies.

“It provides a wonderful opportunity for researchers at all stages of their career.
