Watertown Daily Times | College hockey: St. Lawrence University and Rensselaer finish in 4-4 tie

CANTON — Rensselaer and St. Lawrence University finished in a 4-4 tie on Saturday night in an ECAC Hockey game at Appleton Arena.

After Jesper Ohrvall scored the go-ahead goal for the Engineers 1:42 into the third period, Joe Sullivan tied the game at 4-4 with his power-play goal with 27.8 seconds left in regulation.

Will Reilly generated a pair of power-play goals for RPI (1-4-3, 0-3-1) and Evan Tironese contributed a goal.

Alex Gilmour scored the game’s first goal for the Saints (1-8-1, 0-1-1) in the opening period and Sullivan and teammate Callum Cusinato followed with a goal each in the second period.
